Do not say to your neighbour, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you, when you already have it with you.

•Proverbs 15:10

“It’s a school of hard knocks for those who leave God’s path, a dead-end Steet for those who hate God’s rules.”

•Genesis 1:11

“Let the land produce vegetation seed-bearing plants and trees on the land bear in it, according to their various kinds.”

Sermon Notes:

God Is Waiting for You to Plant a Seed.

What does a farmer do when he has a barren field that is producing no income? He doesn’t complain about it. He doesn’t even have to pray about it! He just goes out and starts planting some seed, because nothing is going to happen until he plants the seed. He can pray all he wants, but it’s not going to produce any crop. He must plant some seed in the field.

Maybe you think you’re waiting on God. You think you’re waiting on God for that job. You think you’re waiting on God for a spouse. You think you’re waiting on God for the windfall. God says, “You think you’re waiting on me? I’m waiting on you! I’m waiting for you to plant a seed.”

Everything in life starts as a seed: a relationship, a marriage, a business, a career, a church. Nothing happens until the seed is planted.

Why does God require us to plant a seed? Because planting is an act of faith. You take what you’ve
got, and you give it away. That takes an act of faith! And it brings glory to God.

Jesus described this principle of sowing and reaping when he was trying to explain why he came to Earth to die on the cross. In John 12:24 Jesus said, “Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (NIV). Jesus was saying, “People will be saved and go to heaven because of my death and Resurrection. I’m going to plant a seed, and the seed is going to be my life.”

Here’s the principle of sowing and reaping: Whenever you have a need, you plant a seed. Whatever the need may be, be it; more time, more energy, more money, more support, more relationships, more wisdom. All you need to do is just plant a seed. If you need more time, give more time to your kids. If you need more money, give it away to someone who needs it. If you need more wisdom, share the wisdom you have with others. Give yourself away!

It may not make sense to you to just give away something that you need more of it, but that is exactly the kind of attitude that God wants to bless and that will produce fruit in your life. When you have a need, don’t gripe about it, don’t wish about it, and you don’t even have to pray about it; just plant a seed!

Ask yourself these questions:

•What need have you been waiting on God to provide?
•What do you think God might be waiting on you to do about that need? What seed can you plant today?
•What kind of effects do you see in yourself and others when you plant a seed and give of yourself?

•How is God building your character through this?

Plant Your Seeds Wisely

“Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed
in it, according to their various kinds.” (Genesis 1:11 NIV)

Everything starts as a seed. That’s the first law of a harvest.

Every achievement started as a dream seed. South Africa started as an idea of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness seed. In His Presence Ministry International [IHPMI] Church started as a seed. Your life started as a seed, from when your father’s seed was connected with your mother’s egg, your life began. Literally everything that’s living on planet Earth came from a seed.

In Genesis 1:11 God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the
land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds” (NIV).

A seed is anything valuable that you give away. When you give away praise, there’s value in that. When you give away good advice, there’s value in that. When you give away your time, there’s value in that. When you give away your money, there’s value in that. When you share your experience to help other people, there’s value in that. When you give your love away, there’s great value in that.

It all starts as a seed, whether it’s your time, money, appreciation, wisdom, or energy.

Your words can also be seeds that you plant in people’s minds. They grow, and they bear fruit. So, you need to choose your words wisely, especially when you’re talking with people that you love, like your children, your husband, your wife, and your friends.

Let me ask you this: What kind of seeds are you planting in your relationships? Are you planting seeds of trust, or are your planting seeds of distrust? Are you planting seeds of kindness, or are you planting seeds of crankiness? Are you planting seeds that build up, or are you planting seeds that tear down? Remember: You will reap whatever you sow.

•How have you seen the seeds that you’ve planted in your children or family or friends grow
and produce fruit?
•What kind of seeds do you want to plant in your relationships?
•Why do you think God wants us to learn to plant in small ways to reap larger benefits?

Many Thanks, I love you and I’m praying for you!

Sermon Notes

I am humbly urge you to give me your undivided attention today. Undivided attention means complete attention or concentration on what someone is doing or saying.

Today, I want to teach you about emotional healing from my own experiences. This isn’t something I just picked in the book and thought I’m going to teach.

I want you to know what God has done in my life and I’m believing it’s going to help you to know that all of us have been through hurtful moments which have left us wounded the in our hearts.

I am going to talk about all those hurts and those pains from the past which keeps us from moving into the future that God has set for us. A lot of times we try to make everything look fine outside and yet inside we would be wounded like what happened to me even since my school days onwards.

I was just trying to cover up all the pain of my past with a wealth of activities like being a cheerleader and winning awards in soccer and being an overachiever. I covered everything up with this big smile and nobody knew the pain that I was hiding on the inside the relationship with my father who rejected me.

Because of that rejection, I ended up with a deep-seated or a compulsive fear of rejection.

I was hiding all that pain behind a big smile and everybody would describe me as the men that smiles all the time. Some people would make bets when I came out of the grocery stores saying I would be smiling but they had no idea I was crying on the inside.

It was like I was dying at times. The Lord showed me this real example of what I looked like coming inside.

When I was young, I was an active soccer player and I was good in the game but there are some junior clubs in Soweto where I was undermined. The coaches did not believe in me. They greatly discouraged me and this affected me greatly.

However, when I moved to another camp in Lenasia, I was welcomed and they embraced and celebrated my talent and I started to shine again. Later on I ended up coaching my own junior team that did very well and even became curtain raisers for some big clubs.

The most important words that you need to hear today is that: You need to be healed from the inside out. You may have been abused, violated or you may have committed an abortion which is now haunting you.

Whatever the situation that has made you to be emotionally wounded, whether it was your fault or not, you must forgive yourself and start the healing process from the inside.

Sometimes it might be that things did not work out as planned, for example, you might have failed to pursue your ‘perfect’ career or to marry the ‘perfect’ person or even to lose weight or get that dream car or get that beautiful house that you have always imagined.

Your greatest ministry may not come out of your strengths and successes. Your greatest ministry is more likely to come out of your deepest pain. Your emotional healing is an inside job.

God cannot rule your life if emotions rule your life. If you make your decisions based on how you feel, then you’ve made your feelings the God of your life.

Joyce Meyers said that sometimes you can open up your refrigerator and get a horrible smell. She said that in dealing with that smell, you can’t just spray an air freshener and think that the smell will go away. You literally need take the old and rotten stuff out and replace it with something fresh.

The same applies in your life concerning whatsoever is emotionally troubling you. You need to remove every burden that is weighing you down inside and start on a fresh page.

I am going to give you two steps to help in that regard.

1. Get some time to be alone with God.

Yes, I know that counselling is good for you but at this moment, I am encouraging you to have some time alone with God without the pressure of everyone around you. Jesus is the healer of the brokenhearted. I want you to learn to get comfortable being alone with God. Always remember that some public victories come from winning private battles.

God is saying to you, I want to heal you from all these hurts but I just need some alone time with you. He wants you to take the first step.

Bible says in James 4:8

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Just tell him that ‘Lord I don’t even know what to say, I feel awkward and vulnerable but Lord, I am just asking you to heal me from all this junk. Just get it out of me Lord.

2. Fill up with the Word of God.

Start filling yourself up with faith teaching like you are doing here in the church building listening to this sermon or reading these nuggets of wisdom from around the world. In all this you are building your faith. Now, imagine doing that every day.

I also recommend you to get my book: Your Journey With God.

As for me, concerning my own emotional healing, I bought books that would help me get free from the past. You need to start educating yourself in the area of emotional healing so that you can truly experience the freedom that God wants you to have.

Philippians 3:13-14 This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Well, think about it. He couldn’t press toward his dreams and his future until first forgetting those things which are behind and reaching those which are ahead. I want to challenge you to get committed to that two-step process which is 1) forget the past reach for what’s ahead 2) fill up with the word of God like never before.

God gave you your emotions for a reason

Your Emotions Serve a Purpose

Jesus says God doesn’t want you to just kind of love him. He wants you to love him passionately “with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength” (Mark 12:29-30).

Do you hear the emotion in the words of Jesus? He wants more than your head knowledge. He wants an emotional relationship with you.

Here are some things you need to understand about emotions:

God has emotions. Yes, God is emotional. He feels joy, grief, anger, and pain. He even feels hatred toward sin. You have emotions, too, because you’re made in God’s image. If God wasn’t an emotional God, you wouldn’t have any emotions.

Your ability to feel is a gift from God. Emotions make you human. Your emotional ability allows you to love and to create. Your emotions help you to be faithful, loyal, kind, and generous. Your emotions help you to experience all the feelings that are attached to the good things in life. Your emotions may not always seem like a gift, but even negative emotions have a purpose.

There are two emotional extremes to avoid. One extreme is emotionalism.

Emotionalism says the only thing that matters in life is how you feel not what you think or what’s right or wrong. With emotionalism, everything in life is based on your emotions; emotions control your life. The other extreme is stoicism. Stoicism says feelings aren’t important at all, and the only things that matter are your intellect and your will.

Christians who follow this approach downplay their emotions.

The truth is, God gave you your emotions for a reason. And he wants you to worship him with all your heart as well as with your mind, soul, and strength.

When you wake up each morning, before your feet hit the floor, you have to say, “God, before I even start this day, I surrender my emotions to you. I want you to be Lord of my feelings. I want you to control my mind and my emotions. I surrender my heart to you. I want you to fill me with your love.”

Ask yourself these questions?

How do you sometimes worship God more with your head than with your heart? Are you more of a “gusher” or a “stuffer” with your emotions? How can you see the results of that in your life?

Do you find it easy or difficult to bring your emotions into your relationship with God? Why?

Don’t Let Your Emotions Give Satan a Foothold

“What’s the real reason I’m feeling this?” Maybe the answer is fear or worry. Maybe it relates to something a parent said to you years ago.

And then when someone else says something similar, that person becomes the target of all your pent-up anger.

“Is it true?” Is what you’re feeling at that moment true? There’s a point in the Bible where Elijah gets so discouraged that he goes to God and complains, “God, I’m the only one in the entire nation of Israel left serving you.” And God told him that there were still other people serving him.

“Is what I’m feeling helping me or hurting me?” Will you get what you want by continuing to feel this way? Many feelings seem beneficial, but they’re actually self-defeating.

For example, let’s say you go to a restaurant, and the service is extremely slow. You wait a long time to be served. Then a couple comes in 15 minutes after you and gets their meals before you do. You become increasingly irritated until you feel something welling up inside you. You can ask yourself today’s three questions:

What’s the real reason you’re feeling this? You’re hungry! Is it true? Yes, you’re frustrated because the service is slow. Is what you’re feeling helping you or hurting you? It’s hurting you. Getting angry with the server won’t get you better service.

Does nagging ever work? When somebody tells you all the things you’re doing wrong, does it make you want to change? No, all it does is make you defensive. So you can conclude that managing your emotions choosing calm over anger is the best path to follow.

When you stop to ask yourself these three questions, you’ll get a better grip on why you feel the way you do and what you need to do to help the situation.

Say these words after me I forgive quickly and quietly.

Many Thanks, I love you and I’m praying for you!

Sermon Notes

I love reading about people who beat the odds. I love reading about people who were told they would never amount to anything, and yet they proved everyone wrong.

You’ll find that among all successful people, there is a common thread. They had to determine that they would never give up.

Calvin Coolidge, the 30th president of the United States of America, once said: “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.”

Helen Keller once said, “You can do anything you want to do if you stick to it long enough.”

Babe Ruth once said, “You just can’t beat the person who never gives up.”

Jennifer Lopez has become one of the most influential Latino performers in the United States of America, but did you know that at the beginning of her career, she struggled with low self-esteem.

“She can’t sing, she can’t dance, and she can’t act” were all the comments she heard and were damaging to her self-image. She almost started to believe them. However, she made up her mind to not allow the negative voices of others suffocate the voice inside her. She refused to give up on her dream and she decided to believe in herself.

This shows that your thoughts about yourself matter. You must therefore trump down those negative beliefs and then equip yourself with the word of God. This is the signal for you not to give up on your dreams.

1. Your opinion is valuable.

2. You are not an accident.

3. You are hand-designed by God.

4. Jesus has a place for you.

5. Your body is valuable.

6. God is always with you. He will never leave you Deuteronomy 31:6

7. You will see God’s plan in your life fulfilled in abundance.

8. You and your family will not miss out on God’s best for your life.

Jennifer Lopez life.

Did you know that at the age of 18, Jennifer Lopez was homeless? Her mother didn’t support her aspirations of pursuing acting and dancing full-time, and so she moved out and slept on a sofa in the dance studio.

Even though she was homeless for that time, she said she wouldn’t trade it for the world. In 1990, she won a national competition and earned a role as one of the fly girls in the comedy series in Living Colour.

Today Jennifer Lopez is one of the most influential Latino performers in the United States.

You are where you are right at this minute because of your choices, your desires, and your level of commitment. Because of the level of your desire, you have what you have at this moment in your life.

Always remember that your self-talk creates reality. Change the negative self- talk to positive, capable, faith-filled declaration. Become your own best cheerleader by giving yourself a pep-talk about your amazing potential.

Someone once said, “The biggest obstacle between you and your success is a lack of total commitment.” Someone else said, “Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others let go.” That’s what success is all about.

Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Weary means worn out from exertion; tired; fatigued.

You find that those people who determine in their lives that they’re never going to give up are the ones that God blesses the most. God is no respecter of persons. He wants everybody to be extremely successful, but you have to obey His Word.

As I’ve already stated, there are people who we see as more blessed than others. It’s simply because they determined that they were never going to give up. No matter what they go through, no matter what kind of adversity they experience, they just declare, “I’m going to stand, and having done all to stand, I’m going to stand some more. And when the dust settles, God and I will still be standing.”

In Hebrews 11, we find what many people call the “Hall of Fame of Faith Folks” in the Old Testament, and you’ll notice that the common thread among them is that they refused to give up.

Hebrews 11:33-34 says, “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”

Now notice the phrase “waxed valiant in fight.” In the Amplified it says, “they became stalwart, even mighty and resistless in battle.” Stalwart means resolute, determined, unwavering, and uncompromising.

The following are all characteristics of people who become extremely successful and extremely blessed in life.

#1. You have to become resolute. When you’re resolute, you don’t compromise. You can count on it, there will be circumstances for you to back off, but you just absolutely refuse to be moved.

#2. You have to become determined. Not enough people are determined to win. There are a lot of people trying, but they’re not determined. You cannot try to live by faith. Trying won’t get it. When you say, “I’m going to try,” what the devil heard you say was, “I’m not committed and so if you create a few barriers or a few obstacles, I’ll probably quit.”

#3. You must become unwavering and uncompromising. Walking by faith and becoming uncompromising are linked together. You can’t walk by faith and be a compromiser. You’ve got to stand fast until you win.

Winners are rarely discouraged. Winners seldom walk around with their heads down in depression. They may have concerns, they may even experience doubt from time to time, but it doesn’t last very long. The winner may wonder, “Dear God, what are we going to do?” But then in a few moments, he casts down those imaginations, and he comes roaring back with the Word of God.

Adversity brings something out of the winner that losers never experience, and that’s courage. The courage to stand. The courage to hang on when others let go. Courage causes the winner to face anything and everything that Satan can dish out and yet refuse to give up.

There’s hope for you today if you’ll make up your mind to never give up. Begin to confess: “I am resolute. I am determined. I am unwavering. I am uncompromising. Quitting is no longer an option in my life.”

When you’re on the brink of a breakthrough, the pressure always intensifies. When you’ve got more pressure on you than you think you can handle, that’s always an indication that your breakthrough is at hand. Set your face like flint and refuse to quit. Stay committed. Commitment builds spiritual and mental toughness. It enables you to persevere no matter how impossible your circumstances may be.

When you’ve done all you know must be done, and it looks like nothing is working, then remember this: the anointing of God is in you, and the anointing will get you over every time.

If you are to win, then it’s up to you. You are accountable for your failure or your success. Now start thinking, talking and acting like a winner. Winning is your destiny.

Ten things unsuccessful people do.

1. They complain

2 They are always late.

3.They blame always

4. They waste money.

5. They surround themselves with other unsuccessful people.

6. They watch a lot TV.

7. They don’t take care of their health.

8: They gossip.

9. They procrastinate

10: They quit.

Be very careful what you say to yourself because someone very important is listening to you.

Are you speaking love and God’s word over Yourself?

Breakthrough happens when you confront what isn’t right in your life. What you do behind the scenes is more important than what you do in front of crowds. Stay focused on this truth.

Sermon Notes: 📝

When I’ve needed things in my own life, I’ve always stood on Mark 11:23: “Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you. In addition, I said (or confessed) what I was believing God for. I’ve always just said it, and not prayed it (When another person is involved, however, what they believe can affect your prayers; especially if they are not in agreement with you.)

I haven’t prayed about money for years, and I’ve never been without money. I always just say, “The money will come,” and it comes. When I need a certain amount, I am specific in my confession: I specify the amount I need. Once I needed 1,500 by the first of the month. So, I said it and I kept saying it. During times of prayer, I didn’t pray it; I just said, “By the first of the month I’ll have the

1,500.00. Immediately when the first of the month came, I had the 1,500! Praise the Lord!

Confession: I hold fast to my confession of faith without wavering, for He is faithful who promises and I have what I say.

“Put Your Faith in Neutral”

Believe that God will do what He says and God promised to supply our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19). So, when the couple’s income wasn’t where it needed it to be, they asked God to increase their finances not once, but three times. God answered every time!

FROM MY EXPERIENCE throughout the years of preaching faith, I’ve concluded that more people fail when it comes to faith for finances than anything else.

From the Book of Isaiah 55:11

The Message

8-11 “I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work.” God’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, so will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.

God proved that He is faithful to His Word when you steadfastly stand in faith. That’s because they’re trying to exercise faith but haven’t sown any seed! They want God to bless their finances even though they haven’t planted anything. Even so, it’s amazing how He’ll have mercy on them and help them. The Bible states, in the book of Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” The Bible also says, in the book of 2 Corinthians 9:6“He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”  If you want a bountiful crop, you must sow bountifully. A lot of people want to be healed, but they don’t want to hear anything

Using Our Authority for Finances

After the Lord showed me this, He said, “Whatever money you need, just claim it.”

Our Authority in Christ

We have a right to claim our needs met because Jesus came to the earth and defeated Satan. We’re in the world but we’re not of the world (John 15:19). Since we still must live in this world, we must use our God-given authority to enforce Satan’s defeat. This is how we will enjoy the blessings of God we have in Christ, including financial prosperity.

Believe and exercise your spiritual authority in finances.

The Lord said to me, “Don’t pray about money like you have been doing. Whatever you need, claim it in Jesus’ Name. Then tell Satan to take his hands off your money and command the ministering spirits to cause it to come.”

The Lord said, “Didn’t you read in My Word, “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?’” (Heb. 1:14). “For” means the angels were sent to do something for us.

WHEN GOD CREATED the world, He gave dominion over all the works of His hands to Adam (Gen. 1:26, 28). In one sense, then, Adam was god of this world, because God turned it over to him.

But we read in Second Corinthians 4:4 that Satan is now the god of this world. How did that happen? Adam committed treason in the Garden of Eden by wilfully eating of the forbidden fruit (Gen. 3:1–7). When he did this, he gave Satans men dominion over the earth.

In Luke 4:6–7 Satan said to Jesus, “All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.” Who delivered this power to Satan? Adam did!

The Lord showed me this and related it to faith for finances. As I prayed and waited before Him, He said to me by the Holy Spirit, “The money you need is down there. It isn’t up here in Heaven. I don’t have any money up here. I’m not going to rain any money down from Heaven. If I did, it would be counterfeit, and I’m not a counterfeiter. It’s Satan who is keeping money from coming, not Me.”

Then I remembered that Jesus said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom” (Luke 6:38). When men give to you, God is behind it. But it’s still men giving it.

After the Lord showed me this, He said, “Whatever money you need, just claim it.”

SOW A SEED TO GOD

THE FIVE WAYS

1. You don’t plant your seed at all. You keep your seed. When Noah came forth from the ark after the Flood, the earth was completely stripped. Yet God told him that there would always be seedtime and harvest in the earth. It looked hopeless. But God said, “Noah, you can plant a seed.” Friend, however hopeless things may look for you right now, God gave us a formula of how to plant our seed for a harvest. One thing is certain if you keep your seed and don’t plant it, there will be no harvest! God has taught me that a neglected or rejected opportunity to sow my seed is a lost opportunity to receive.

2. You can plant by the “wayside.” The Lord said that the birds come and eat this kind of seed, meaning the devil comes and steals it away. God is saying that you must have purpose in your seed planting. You must choose your soil wisely. You must sow your seed where God’s work is really being done. That’s where the good soil is.

3. You can plant on “stony ground.” In other words, you can plant your seed where the soil is shallow. It will come up, but it won’t last. The Lord said that when the sun gets hot, it burns up this kind of seed. If you plant where it’s too easy, you won’t have much of a harvest.

4. You can plant your seed “among the thorns” or weeds. As the seed begins to grow, thorns will grow up and choke the life out of other words, you can plant your seed where the soil is shallow. It will come up, but it won’t last. The Lord said that when the sun gets hot, it burns up this kind of seed. If you plant where it’s too easy, you won’t have much of a harvest.

5. You can plant your seed “among the thorns” or weeds. As the seed begins to grow, thorns will grow up and choke the life out of it That means if you’re planting for the wrong reasons —to be well thought of or to be rich and powerful for yourself only—it will destroy your seed.

 6. You can plant in “GOOD SOIL.” Know where your seed is going. When you plant into the work of the Lord, believe God that it will be used for the salvation of souls and the healing of broken lives so the kingdom of God will increase. Then it can produce a plentiful harvest—30-, 60-, or 100-fold (see Matthew 13:8)! “I DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO GIVE!” Some people think they don’t have anything to give to the Lord. But everybody has something they can give.

Seed-Faith living means that you do what Jesus did:

✔ You love first.

✔ You give first.

✔ You forgive first.

✔ You apologize first.

✔ You pray for others first.

✔You smile first.

✔ You go the second mile first.

✔ You take the first step.

When you do these things, you initiate a new direction in your life. YOU SEED TO GOD, YOUR SOURCE FOR A MIRACLE!

What’s the Cure for Stress?

The book of Romans 8:32 (TLB) says, “Since he did not spare even his own Son for us but gave him up for us all, won’t he also surely give us everything else?”

If you want a cure for stress, look to God to meet your needs.

The major cause of stress in your life is worry. You worry because you wonder if you will have what you need when you need it. But any time you expect people or things to meet your needs instead of God, you’re going to be frustrated and disappointed, because nobody on earth can meet all your needs. Only God can do that.

Some people find their security in their job, and when they lose their job, they lose their peace of mind. Others put their security in their marriage. Then their spouse dies, or they go through a divorce, and they ask, “Who am I? What is my identity?” Or maybe you put your security in your money. But there are a lot of ways to lose your money.

I recommend that you never put your security in anything that can be taken away from you. You can lose your job, your health, your reputation, your spouse, and so many other things. But you cannot lose your relationship with Christ. When you put your security in that promise, you can trust God to meet all your needs.

The book of Romans 8:32 (TLB) says, “Since he did not spare even his own Son for us but gave him up for us all, won’t he also surely give us everything else?”

If God loved you enough to send Jesus Christ to die on the cross, don’t you think he loves you enough to take care of every other need in your life? Yes! Of course, he does. Every time you start to get stressed, pause, and say, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1 ESV). God’s going to provide. He’s going to take care of you. Instead of stressing out, look to him to meet all your needs.

Ask yourself these Questions?

  • When you have a need in your life, what is typically your first reaction?
  • What do you need in your life today?
  • How can you show others that you trust God to provide for it?

Money Is an Amplifier

  • The devil is a liar. The only way he can destroy God’s work in you is to get you to believe his lies. For years, much of the church has believed that to be holy and to be humble, to be glorious and sanctified, we must be poor. Satan will cause fear to increase in people if you start mentioning the word money in a church. I’ll tell you why. Many have been taught that money will corrupt you, that money will give you bad character. That is a lie! Money is nothing more than an amplifier.
  • Money amplifies the character that is already within you. It doesn’t change your character. We’ve used that as an excuse for too long.
  • The Bible never says money will corrupt you. We have all heard that the Bible says money is the root of all evil. No, it doesn’t! The Bible does not say that! The Bible says the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.
  • You trace it out and you’ll find the love of money is what is behind pornography. The love of money is what’s behind murder. The love of money is what’s behind gambling. That love of money is behind every sin that there is. The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. But it’s not the money.
  • “Look among the nations and watch; be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you (Habakkuk 1:5).”
  • God is getting ready to do a work in these last days in His church that is so astonishing, so phenomenal that some of us will not believe it even after it is told to us because it is something that will just set us ablaze with the glory of God. We must be ready. People are going to be drawn to the glory of God. They are not going to be drawn to a beat down, wimpy church.
  • Most Christians have the door closed when it comes to prosperity in their lives. Don’t let yourself become accustomed to believing that things are never going to get any better. We must start living in the overflow. The man who fears God lives in prosperity.
  • “Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth (Psalms 25:12-13)”. Who is to inherit the earth? You and me! We are the descendants. We are the ones who inherit.
  • God enjoys our prosperity. “Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor My righteous cause; and let them say continually, ‘Let the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.'” It doesn’t say pleasure in the poverty of His servant, but pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. This is not just talking about money. It is talking about living in the overflow of God’s goodness and His abundance. WOW!
  • “Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness (the glory) and all the prosperity that I provide for it (Jeremih 33:9).”
  • You may say, “Well, that’s for Israel, not us.” Wrong! Galatians 3:29 says, “And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to the promise.” We are the inheritors of the promises.

Remember This: Why can you trust God’s promises in his Word?

Many Thanks, I love you and I’m praying for you!
